Let \(\mathbb{Z}\) be the set of integers. For \(W, C\) subsets of \(\mathbb{Z}\), \(C\) is said to be an additive complement to \(W\) if their sumset \(C + W\) is equal to \(\mathbb{Z}\). We call \(C\) a minimal additive complement to \(W\) if no proper subset of \(C\) is an additive complement to \(W\). We say a set of positive integers \(X\) is eventually periodic with period \(T\) if there exists a positive integer \(T\) such that \(x + T\in X\) for all sufficiently large \(x \in X\). In this paper the authors prove the existence of an infinite, not eventually periodic set \(W = \{1=w_{1} < w_{2} < \cdots{}\}\) of natural numbers with \(w_{i+1} - w_{i} \in \{c,d\}\) for all \(i\) such that there exists a minimal complement to \(W\), where \(c, d\) are positive integers with \(c\mid d\). Furthermore, they partially solve Problem 1 in the paper [\textit{S. Z. Kiss} et al., J. Combin. Theory Ser. A 162, 344--353 (2019; Zbl 1475.11019].
