Let \(n\) be an integer \(\geq 2\). A unimodal distribution \(\mu\) is constructed for which the convolution \(\mu * \mu\) is \(n\)-modal. The unimodal distribution \(\mu_ 1\) for which \(\mu_ 1 * \mu_ 1\) is \(\infty\)-modal is presented as well.
