The author presents a convergence theorem for the curvatures \(\varphi_ 0, \varphi_ 1, \cdots, \varphi_{n-1}\) of submanifolds of \(E^ n\). A polyhedron \(P\) is called ``closely inscribed'' in a \(C^{1,1}\)-manifold \(M\subset E^ n\) if all vertices lie on \(M\) and if the nearest point map \(P\to M\) is one-to-one. Suppose that \((P^ j)_{j\in\mathbb{N}}\) is a sequence of \(k\)-dimensional polyhedral submanifolds with boundary closely inscribed in a \(C^{1,1}\)-manifold \(M\) such that \(P^ j\to M\) and \(\partial P^ j\to \partial M\) is the Hausdorff metric and such that the simplices of the \(P^ j\) are sufficiently fat. Then for \(i=0,\cdots, n- 1\) the curvature measure \(\varphi_ i(P^ j)\) converges to \(\varphi_ i(M)\) in the sense of weak convergence of measures. As the author remarks, this theorem is a kind of corollary of more general results in his forthcoming paper [Curvature measures of subanalytic sets, Am. J. Math., to appear]. Intrinsic analogues have been obtained by \textit{J. Cheeger}, \textit{W. Müller} and \textit{R. Schrader} [Commun. Math. Phys. 92, No. 3, 405-454 (1984; Zbl 0559.53028)].
