A remark on the reduction of Hall subgroups in finite soluble groups (Q689750)

Sei \(G\) eine endliche auflösbare Gruppe und seien \(U\) und \(V\) Untergruppen von \(G\). In der Arbeit von \textit{J. Shamash} [Math. Z. 109, 288-310 (1969; Zbl 0186.322)] wird die Frage gestellt, ob eine Halluntergruppe \(G_ \pi\) von \(G\), die in \(U\) und \(V\) reduziert (d.h. \(G_ \pi \cap U\in \text{Hall}_ \pi(U)\) und \(G_ \pi \cap V \in \text{Hall}_ \pi(V)\)), auch in \(U\cap V\) reduziert. Mit Hilfe eines Beispiels wird gezeigt, daß dies im allgemeinen nicht der Fall ist. Eine positive Antwort enthält man jedoch im Fall \(\pi = \{p\}\) bei \(p\)- normal eingebetteten Untergruppen \(U\) und \(V\). Dabei heißt eine Untergruppe \(U\) von \(G\) \(p\)-normal eingebettet in \(G\), wenn die \(p\)- Sylowuntergruppen von \(U\) \(p\)-Sylowuntergruppen eines Normalteilers von \(G\) sind.
