      The author studies an implicit integro-differential equation of the following form:\N\[\N\dot{x}(t) = f\left(x(t), \dot{x}(t), \int_{-\infty}^t \gamma_a^b (t-s)\varphi (x(s),\dot{x}(s))ds + \lambda h(t) \right), \,\,\lambda \geq 0.\N\]\NHere \(f \colon \mathbb{R}^n \times \mathbb{R}^n \times \mathbb{R}^k \to \mathbb{R}^n\) is a \(C^\infty\)-function, \(\varphi \colon \mathbb{R}^n \times \mathbb{R}^n \to \mathbb{R}^k\) is a continuous function, the integral kernel \(\gamma_a^b\) for \(a >0\) and \(b \in \mathbb{N}\setminus {0}\) is the gamma probability distribution defined as\N\[\N\gamma_a^b(s) = \frac{a^bs^{b-1}e^{-as}}{(b-1)!} \,\,\mbox{for}\,\, s \geq 0,\quad \gamma_a^b (s) = 0 \,\,\mbox{for}\,\, s<0\N\]\Nand \(h \colon \mathbb{R} \to \mathbb{R}^k\) is a \(T\)-periodic perturbation.\N\NBy using topological degree methods, the author proves the existence of a connected set with noncompact closure consisting of \(T\)-periodic solutions of the above equation.\N\NFor the entire collection see [Zbl 1565.34001].
