The authors study the oscillatory and non-oscillatory behavior of solutions of a class of second-order two-dimensional neutral dynamic systems of the form \N\begin{align*}\N\begin{bmatrix} u(\eta)+p(\eta)u(\eta-\tau)\\\Nv(\eta)+p(\eta)v(\eta-\tau) \end{bmatrix}^{\Delta^{2}} = \begin{bmatrix} b_{1}(\eta) & b_{2}(\eta)\\\Nb_{3}(\eta) & b_{4}(\eta) \end{bmatrix} \begin{bmatrix} \zeta_{1}(u(\eta-\alpha))\\\N\zeta_{2}(v(\eta-\beta)) \end{bmatrix} . \tag{S1}\N\end{align*} \NHere \(\tau,\alpha,\beta\in\mathbb{R}^{+}\), \(p(\eta)\in C_{rd}(\mathbb{R},\mathbb{T})\) with \(|p(\eta)|<\infty\), \(\zeta_{1},\zeta_{2}\in C_{rd}(\mathbb{T},\mathbb{R})\), and \(b_i(\eta)\in C_{rd}(\mathbb{R},\mathbb{T})\) (\(i=1,2,3,4\)) with \(b_1(\eta),b_4(\eta)<0\) and \(b_2(\eta),b_3(\eta)>0\).\N\NThe study is divided into three parts: oscillation of bounded solutions, oscillation of regular solutions, and the existence of non-oscillatory solutions. Using the integral averaging technique, oscillation criteria are established for bounded solutions when \(0<p(\eta)<1\), \(-1<p(\eta)<0\), and \(-\infty<p(\eta)<-1\) under the conditions \N\[\N\int_{\eta}^{\infty}(s-\eta)b_{2}(s)\Delta s<\infty, \quad \int_{\eta}^{\infty}(s-\eta)b_{3}(s)\Delta s<\infty \tag{C1}\N\]\Nand \N\[\int_{\eta}^{\infty}(s-\eta)b_{1}(s)\Delta s=-\infty, \quad \int_{\eta}^{\infty}(s-\eta)b_{4}(s)\Delta s=-\infty \tag{C2}\N\]\Nhold.\N\NFurthermore, by employing the same technique, oscillation criteria for regular solutions of (S1) are obtained for \(0<p(\eta)<p<\infty\) and \(-1<p(\eta)<0\) under condition (C1) together with \N\[\N\int_{\eta_{1}}^{\infty}b_{1}(s)\Delta s=-\infty, \quad \int_{\eta_{1}}^{\infty}b_{4}(s)\Delta s=-\infty.\tag{C3}\N\]\NFinally, by applying Krasnoselskii's fixed point theorem, the authors establish conditions ensuring the existence of non-oscillatory solutions of (S1) for all possible ranges of the neutral coefficient \(p(\eta)\) whenever (C1) and \N\[\N\int_{\eta}^{\infty}(s-\eta)b_{1}(s)\Delta s>-\infty, \quad \int_{\eta}^{\infty}(s-\eta)b_{4}(s)\Delta s>-\infty \tag{C4}\N\]\Nare satisfied. The theoretical results are illustrated by three numerical examples demonstrating the applicability of the obtained criteria.
