      Unbounded sequences of solutions of equation \[ \Delta u - u +f(u)=0 \] in \({R}^N\), \(N\geq 2\), where \(u\in H^1(\mathbb R)^N\) are constructed. The main result is the following. Assume that for \(i=1,2\) \(f_i(0)=f_i'(0)=0\), the equation \[ \Delta w_i-w_i+f_i(w_i)=0 \] has a unique positive (radially symmetric) solution \(w_i\), nondegenerate in a certain sense, which tends to \(0\) exponentially fast at infinity and that \(k\geq 7\) is a fixed integer. Then there exist two sequences of integers, \((m_i)_{i\geq 0}\), \((n_i)_{i\geq 0}\) tending to \(+\infty\), and \((u_i)_{i\geq 0}\), a sequence of nonradial sign-changing solutions whose energy \[ \varepsilon(u_i)=k((m_i+n_i)\varepsilon_1+n_i\varepsilon_2)+o(1), \] where \[ \varepsilon(u):=\frac{1}{2}\int_{R^N}(|\nabla u|^2+u^2)dx-\int_{R^N}F(u)dx \] and \[ \varepsilon_i:=\frac{1}{2}\int_{R^N}(|\nabla w_i|^2+w_i^2)dx-\int_{R^N}F(w_i)dx. \] Moreover, the solutions \(u_i\) are invariant under the action of \(D_k\times O(N-2)\), \(D_k\subset O(2)\) but are not invariant under the action of \(O(2)\times O(N-2)\).
