In the special relativistic case, a natural analog of Brownian motion was introduced by \textit{R. M. Dudley} in [Ark. Mat. 6, 241--268 (1966; Zbl 0171.39105)], and extended to the general relativistic framework by \textit{J. Franchi} and \textit{Y. Le Jan} in [Commun. Pure Appl. Math. 60, No. 2, 187--251 (2007; Zbl 1130.83006)]. The current article addresses a non-explosion problem for these relativistic diffusions. The techniques used previously for Riemannian manifolds are not applicable here directly, therefore the authors give non-explosion criteria in terms appropriate in this non-elliptic setting.
