A dendriform algebra has two products \(\prec\) and \(\succ\), with the axioms\N\begin{align*}\N(x\prec y)\prec z&=x\prec(y\prec z+y\succ z),\\\N(x\succ y)\prec z&=x\succ (y\prec z),\\\Nx\succ (y\succ z)&=(x\prec y+x\succ y)\succ z.\N\end{align*}\NA classification of 2-dimensional complex dendriform algebras has been done by the first author, with Rikhsiboev and Basri. Here, a classification of 2-dimensional dendriform algebras on any field is given. If the characteristic of the base field is not 2 nor 3, this gives 14 cases, 1 depending on a nonzero parameter, and 4 depending on a parameter in \(\{0,1\}\). In characteristic 2, this gives 15 cases, 2 depending on a nonzero parameter, and 1 depending on a parameter in \(\{0,1\}\). In characteristic 3, this gives also 15 cases, 1 depending on a nonzero parameter, and 1 depending on a parameter in \(\{0,1\}\). These classifications are based on a classification of 2-dimensional associative algebras due to the second author.
