The most commonly used method for solving partial differential equations on surfaces is the triangular mesh-based spatial discretization method. It generates a discrete surface that approximates the original surface by concatenating triangular meshes with spatial patches. In this paper, an immersed finite element method is proposed for solving parabolic interface problems on surfaces. Error estimates are provided for both semi-discrete and fully-discrete schemes. The advantage of this method lies in its capability to utilize unfitted surface meshes while maintaining second-order accuracy. Some numerical examples are presented to illustrate the accuracy of the proposed method.
