Let \(\Omega\subset\mathbb{C}^n\) be a complex domain with Kähler metric \(g\), a Kähler form \(\omega\) associated to \(g\) and a Kähler potential \(\Phi:\Omega\longrightarrow\mathbb{R}\) for \(g\). Let \[ \mathcal{H}_\Phi=\biggl\{\phi\in\mathrm{Hol}(\Omega)\;|\; \int_\Omega e^{-\Phi}|\phi|^2\frac{\omega^n}{n!}<\infty\biggr\}\neq \{0\} \] be the space of \(\Phi\)-weighted square integrable holomorphic functions on \(\Omega\), and \[ K_\Phi(z,\overline{z})=\sum_{j=0}^\infty|\phi_j(z)|^2 \] its reproducing kernel, for an orthonormal basis \(\{\phi_j\}\). Finally, let \[ \epsilon_g=e^{-\Phi(z)}K_\Phi(z,\overline{z}) \] be Rawnsley's \(\epsilon\)-function. The metric \(g\) is said to be balanced if \(\epsilon_g\) is a positive constant. The authors prove first that if \(\lambda\in\mathbb{R}^+\), then \(\mathcal{H}_{\lambda\Phi}\neq 0\) iff \(\lambda g\) is balanced. Using this they prove that there is a positive constant \(\lambda_0\) such that \(\lambda g\) is balanced iff \(\lambda>\lambda_0\). They then prove that such a complex domain \(\Omega\) admits a Berezin quantization if the function \(\epsilon_{\lambda g}\) is a positive constant for sufficiently large \(\lambda\) and the function \(e^{-D_g(x,y)}\) is globally defined on \(\Omega\times\Omega\), satisfies \(e^{-D_g(x,y)}\leq 1\) and \(e^{-D_g(x,y)}=1\) iff \(x=y\), where \[ D_g(x,y)=\Phi(x,\overline{x})+\Phi(y,\overline{y})-\Phi(x,\overline{y})-\Phi(y,\overline{x}) \] is Calabi's diastasis function. With this, they prove the main result of the paper, namely that every homogeneous bounded domain admits a Berezin quantization.
