This very clear paper considers a type of geometric structure on a 3-manifold consisting of a pair of transverse contact structures. The paper considers, from among these structure, those which have a positive-dimensional Lie algebra of local symmetries. The paper determines local normal forms of such structures, explicitly computed in local coordinates.
