The authors study the long-term behavior of topological ergodicity and ergodic sensitivity of a skew-product dynamical system defined on a nonempty closed subset of the positive real numbers. The system can be inhomogeneous under the exponential estimates of the large deviation theorem. This setting is convenient for numerical simulations as well as for discrete dynamical systems, not necessarily of equal time-step size.
