In a previous investigation [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 141, No. 5, 1545-1549 (2013; Zbl 1266.16015)], the author gives a criterion for crossed-product orders over a discrete valuation domain to be hereditary or maximal. In the present account, this is extended to valuation rings \(V\) of arbitrary Krull dimension. Let \(K\) be a finite Galois extension of the quotient field \(F\) of \(V\) with Galois group \(G\), and let \(S\) be the integral closure of \(V\) in \(K\). If \(V\) is one-dimensional, it is known that every \(V\)-order \(A\supset S\) in a crossed-product algebra \((K/F,G,f)\) with respect to a normalized 2-cocycle \(f\) is a crossed-product order \(A_g\) for some 2-cocycle \(g\) cohomologous to \(f\). For arbitrary \(V\), this need no longer be the case. The author provides a simple criterion for a crossed-product order \(A_f\) to be semihereditary.
