This article studied an optimal control problem associated to a multispecies diffusion-reaction system in a periodic perforated domain. By considering a quadratic \(L^2\) cost functional, the authors obtained an optimal control and its relation with the corresponding adjoint state. Besides, the authors derived the homogenized problem and showed the convergence analysis of the optimal control solution qualitatively via the two-scale convergence method and the unfolding method.
