The authors study a class of Hilfer fractional stochastic differential systems of order \(1<\mu<2\) in Hilbert spaces and investigate both the existence of mild solutions and the existence of optimal controls. The Hilfer fractional derivative is a generalization of the Riemann-Liouville fractional derivative and encompasses both the Riemann-Liouville and the Caputo fractional derivatives as special cases. Using cosine families, properties of the associated Wright-Mittag-Leffler kernels, and a Banach fixed-point argument, the paper establishes existence and uniqueness of mild solutions for the corresponding stochastic evolution equation. It then formulates an optimal control problem of Lagrange type and proves the existence of an optimal admissible pair.
