    Let \(M^n\) be an \(n\)-dimensional, smooth and closed manifold, equipped with a smooth \((\mathbb{Z}_2)^k\)- action \(T:M^n \rightarrow M^n\). The fixed point set of \(T\), \(F\) of constant dimension \(n-r\) is a finite and disjoint union of closed submanifolds of \(M\). The fixed point data of the \((\mathbb{Z}_2)^k\)-action on \(M\) is \((F, \{\varepsilon_i\}_{i=1}^{2^k - 1})\), where \(\{\varepsilon_i\}_{i=1}^{2^k - 1}\) is the set of \(2^k - 1\) vector bundles obtained in the decomposition of the normal bundle of \(F\). Let \(I\) be the set of total \(2^k -1\) partitions of \(r\) and for \(A \subset I\) the authors denote by \(J^{r}_{n,k}(A)\) the set of classes represented by a manifold \(M^n\) with a \((\mathbb{Z}_2)^k\)-action having the fixed point data \((F^{n-r}, \{\varepsilon_i\}_{i=1}^{2^{k}-1})\) such that for each component \(F_j\) of \(F^{n-r}\), \(\dim(\varepsilon_{1}\mid_{F_{j}}),\dim(\varepsilon_{2}\mid_{F_{j}}), \dots , \dim(\varepsilon_{2^{k}-1}\mid_{F_{j}}) \in A\). Then \(J_{*,k}^{r}(A) = \sum_{n\geq r} J^{r}_{n,k}(A)\) is an ideal of the unoriented cobordism ring which was computed in some particular cases by \textit{P. L. Q. Pergher} in [Topology Appl. 46, No. 1, 55--64 (1992; Zbl 0778.57017)] and by \textit{Z. D. Wu} and \textit{M. Y. Guo} in [Acta Math. Sin. 46, No. 5, 937--942 (2003; Zbl 1031.57025) and Sichuan Univ., Nat. Sci. Ed. 40, No. 3, 415--418 (2003; Zbl 1061.57028)]. In this work, the authors are interested in the calculation of the minimal data of the normal bundle defined by \(\|J^{r}_{*,k}\|= \text{min}\{\|A\|, \,\, J^{r}_{*,k}(A) = J^{r}_{*,k}, A \subset I\}\). They use some results of Pergher and of Wu and Guo, cited above, and prove the following results: \[ \|J^{r}_{*,k}\|= 3, \text{for}\,\, r=2 \,\, \text{and}\,\, k \geq 2 \,\, \text{or} \,\, r=3 \,\,\text{and} \,\, k=2 \] and \[ \|J^{r}_{*,k}\| \leq \begin{cases} 3 , & r=3 , k \geq 3\\ 8, & r=4 , k \geq 3 \\ 9, & r=5, k=2. \end{cases} \]
