In eight dimensions, the exotic holonomy groups \(Spin(7)\) and \(Spin(3,4)\) occur. Semi-Riemannian manifolds with such holonomy can be constructed by Hitchin's evolution equations, whose initial values are cocalibrated \(G_2^{(*)}\)-structures. The author of this work classifies such structures for \(7\)-dimensional Lie algebras with codimension-one Abelian ideal. The classification is given in terms of the Jordan normal form for the element in the Lie algebra with non-trivial adjoint action.
