Let \(k\) denote a number field, and let \(G_n\) stand for one of the following classical groups defined over \(k\): \(\mathrm{Sp_{2n}}\), \(\mathrm{SO_{2n+1}}\), \(\mathrm{SO^\alpha_{2n}}\), quasi-split, and \(\mathrm{U}_n\), quasi-split and inner forms. In the paper under the review, the authors prove the upper-bound conjecture for Fourier coefficients of automorphic forms in Arthur packets, due to the first author, stating that for any \(\psi \in \widetilde{\Psi}_2(G_n)\), any \(\pi\) in the automorphic \(L^2\)-packet attached to \(\psi\), and a partition \(\underline{p} \in \mathfrak{p}^m(\pi)\), we have \(\underline{p} \leq \eta_{\mathfrak{g}^{\vee}_n, \mathfrak{g}_n}(\underline{p}(\psi))\).\N\NHere \(\underline{p}(\psi)\) stands for the partition attached to \((\psi, G^{\vee}_n(\mathbb{C}))\), and \(\eta_{\mathfrak{g}^{\vee}_n, \mathfrak{g}_n}\) stands for Barbasch-Vogan-Spaltenstein duality map from the partitions of the dual group \(G^{\vee}_n(\mathbb{C})\) to the partitions of \(G_n\).\N\NIn the last part of the paper, the authors also study the wavefront set of the unramified unitary dual for split \(\mathrm{Sp_{2n}}\), \(\mathrm{SO_{2n+1}}\), and \(\mathrm{O_{2n}}\), and determine the set \(\mathfrak{p}^m(\pi)\) for general unramified unitary representations, under a conjecture on the wavefront set of negative representations.
