A normal quasi-affine variety \(X\) of dimension \(\ge 2\) defined over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero is flexible if the subgroup \(\mathrm{SAut}(X)\) of \(\mathrm{Aut}(X)\) generated by all one-parameter unipotent subgroups (hence isomorphic to the additive group scheme \(G_a\)) acts transitively on the smooth part \(X_{\mathrm{reg}}\).\N\NAs a generalizstion of \textit{A. Holme}'s embedding theorem [Acta Math. 135, 155--185 (1975; Zbl 0339.14007)] and its extension by \textit{P. Feller} and \textit{I. van Santen} [J. Algebr. Geom. 32, No. 4, 729--786 (2023; Zbl 1534.14049)], the author proves an embedding theorem of an affine variety to a smooth flexible variety. One of the two main theorems states: \N\N{Theorem 1.} Let \(X\) be a smooth flexible variety equipped with a \(G_a^m\)-action such that the minimal dimension of its orbits is \(n\). Suppose that \(Z\) is an affine variety such that \(\dim Z \le n\) and \(\mathrm{ED}(Z)=\max\{2\dim Z+1, \dim TZ\} \le \dim X\), where \(TZ\) is the Zariski tangent space of \(Z\). Then there exists a closed embedding of \(Z\) into \(X\).
