The convex hull of \(k+1\) points in an \(n\)-dimensional normed space is called regular \(k\)-simplex if all pairwise distances between these points are equal. Clearly, the Euclidean \(n\)-space contains regular \(n\)-simplices, but for general normed spaces in high dimensions this is still open. The author gives a short proof of Petty's result that every normed 3-space contains a regular 3-simplex.
