This paper studies dynamics of Hamiltonian systems via persistence modules arising from Floer theory. More precisely, the relationship between the barcode entropy and the topological entropy is studied. For a persistence module, the barcode entropy is defined as\N\[\N\hbar = \lim_{\varepsilon \to 0^+} \limsup_{\tau \to \infty} \frac{\max(0,\log_2 \mathfrak b_\varepsilon(\tau))}{\tau},\N\]\Nwhere \(\mathfrak b_\varepsilon(\tau)\) are the number of bars of length greater than \(\varepsilon\), beginning in the range \([0,\tau)\) in the barcode of the persistence module. Letting \((M, \alpha)\) be a cooriented Liouville fillable contact manifold, the topological entropy of the Reeb flow \(\varphi^t_\alpha\) is denoted by \(h_{\mathrm{top}}(\alpha)\), and it was proven by \textit{E. Fender} et al. [``Barcode entropy for Reeb flows on contact manifolds with Liouville fillings'', Preprint, \url{arXiv:2305.04770}] that \(\hbar(\alpha) \leq h_{\mathrm{top}}(\alpha)\).\N\NThe main result of the paper under review is a comparison between the barcode and topological entropies in the opposite direction, when restricted to hyperbolic sets: If \(K\) is a compact hyperbolic invariant set of the Reeb flow \(\varphi^t_\alpha\), then \(\hbar(\alpha) \geq h_{\mathrm{top}}(\varphi^t_\alpha|_K)\). In dimension \(3\), the topological entropy of \(\alpha\) is the supremum over the topological entropy restricted to hyperbolic invariant sets, which leads to the equality \(\hbar(\alpha) = h_{\mathrm{top}}(\alpha)\) if \(\dim M = 3\).
