This paper develops a character-theoretic framework for studying relative defect zero characters via cohomological invariants of character triples. Given a character triple \((G,N,\theta)\) with \(\theta \in \mathrm{Irr}(N)\) \(G\)-invariant, the authors define the notion of a \(\pi\)-quasi-extension of \(\theta\), governed by the order of the cohomology class \([\theta]_G \in H^2(G/N, \mathbb{C}^\times)\). Theorem A provides several equivalent conditions for the existence of such a quasi-extension, including Sylow extendibility criteria and the existence of a class function extending \(\theta\) over \(\pi'\)-subgroups.\N\NTheorem B proves that normalized \(\pi\)-quasi-extensions, defined as class functions which vanish on all elements whose \(\pi\)-part does not belong to \(N\), are unique up to twisting by linear characters of \(G/N\). Theorem C establishes a bijection between \(\pi\)-defect zero characters of \(G/N\) and relative \(\pi\)-defect zero characters of \(G\) lying over \(\theta\). The proofs are based on projective representations and cohomological constructions and deliberately avoid block-theoretic methods.
