The authors give two singular vector formulae for the \(N=1\) superconformal algebra. The proofs are based on embedding diagrams of Verma modules [\textit{K.~Iohara} and \textit{Y.~Koga}, Adv. Math. 178, 1--65 (2003; Zbl 1048.17005)]. These results are closely related to [\textit{L.~Benoit} and \textit{Y.~Saint-Aubin}, Int. J. Mod. Phys. A 9, 547--566 (1994; Zbl 0988.81506)], where a different approach, based on the fusion process, is adopted.
