The authors investigate the curvature exponent of sub-Finsler Heisenberg groups equipped with the Lebesgue measure. In Theorem 3.7, they prove that \(N_{\mathrm{curv}}\geq 5\), with equality occurring if and only if the corresponding sub-Finsler Heisenberg group is, in fact, sub-Riemannian. Furthermore, the authors establish the \(C_k\) strong convergence topology on the space of norms, and in Theorem 4.7, they demonstrate that the curvature exponent is continuous with respect to this topology. Using this result, they construct a norm on \(\mathcal{D}\) such that the resulting sub-Finsler Heisenberg group has a prescribed curvature exponent. Specifically, in Theorem 4.12, they show that for every \(N\geq 5\), there exists a sub-Finsler structure on the Heisenberg group for which \(N_{\mathrm{curv}}=N\).
