The authors investigate in-time limits for the generalized Kuramoto equations, which are assumed as implicit ordinary differential equations. They also study the limiting cases of mean-field limit and continuum limit.\N\NThe following questions are addressed:\N\begin{itemize}\N\item Under which conditions on the system parameters and initial conditions are the finite-dimensional models (lattice models) \(\ell_p\)-stable with respect to initial conditions and system parameters?\N\item Can the continuum model be rigorously derived from the lattice model?\N\item Can the kinetic mean-field limit be rigorously derived from thr lattice model?\N\end{itemize}\NThe authors prove, that under suitable conditions on the parameters and initial conditions, these questions can be answered positively.
