The Takiff Lie algebra associated with the Lie algebra \(sl_2\) is defined as \(sl_2\otimes (\mathbb{C}[t]/(t^2))\) with the braket \N\[\N[x\otimes t^i,y\otimes t^j]=[x,y]\otimes t^{i+j}.\N\]\NIn the paper under review the author constructs a large new family of simple modules over Takiff algebra.
