The purpose of this article is to introduce a new Horn function of \(N\) variables, which generalizes the fourth Lauricella function \(\mathrm{F}_{\mathrm{D}}^{(N)}\). This function is defined by \N\[\N\mathrm{G}_{\mathrm{D}}^{N,j}(\vec{a};b ;c ;\vec{z}):=\sum_{\vec{k}=\vec{0}}^{\vec{\infty}}\frac{(b)_{\sigma}(\vec{a})_{\vec{k}}}{(c)_{\sigma}\vec{k}!}\vec{z}^{\vec{k}},\tag{1}\N\]\Nwhere \N\[\N\sigma:=\sum_{s=j}^Nk_s-\sum_{s=1}^{j-1}k_s,\ j = 1, \ldots, N + 1.\N\]\NIt is claimed without proof that the function \((1)\) converges in the unit polydisc \(\mathbb{U}^N:=\{\vec{z}\in\mathbb{C}^N:\vert z_i \vert<1 ,\ i=1,\ldots, N\}\). Numerical computations shows that this might be true.\N\NThe function \((1)\) converges to \(\mathrm{F}_{\mathrm{D}}^{(N)}\) with special values of the parameters, for \(j\in\{1,N+1\}\).
