The paper by Ciprian Manolescu and Michael Willis focuses on constructing a Rasmussen invariant for links in \(\mathbb{RP}^3\). Building on the work of Asaeda-Przytycki-Sikora [\textit{M. M. Asaeda} et al., Algebr. Geom. Topol. 4, 1177--1210 (2004; Zbl 1070.57008)], \textit{V. O. Manturov} [J. Knot Theory Ramifications 16, No. 3, 345--377 (2007; Zbl 1117.57013)], and \textit{B. Gabrovšek} [Bull. Aust. Math. Soc. 88, No. 3, 407--422 (2013; Zbl 1282.57017)] -- who extended Khovanov homology to links in \(\mathbb{RP}^3\) -- the authors develop a Lee-type deformation theory and define an \(s\)-invariant. They prove that this invariant imposes constraints on the genera of link cobordisms in \(I\times \mathbb{RP}^3\), and demonstrate, through examples of freely 2-periodic knots such as \(K_1\) (whose lift is the knot \(12n403\)) and \(K_2\) (whose lift is the knot \(14n14256\)), that there exist knots which are concordant but not standardly equivariantly concordant. The paper also elaborates on complex technical details, including the construction of complexes with auxiliary choices and the verification of invariance under Reidemeister moves, and concludes with proposals for open problems, thereby providing a key tool and new directions for the topological study of links in \(\mathbb{RP}^3\).
