Arkhangel'skij asked whether there is a compact Hausdorff space containing a countable dense P-set. The author answers this question in the affirmative. He first proves that a slight variation of Hechler's poset for adding a dominating real leads via Stone duality to the required example. He then proves that \(\text{{Seq}} = \bigcup_{n\in\omega} {}^n 2\) with its natural topology derived from a collection of filters \(\mathcal F\) on \(\omega\) is a P-set in its Čech-Stone compactification if and only if all of the filters in \(\mathcal F\) are P-filters. This gives easier examples than the one from Hechler's poset.
