A Mendelsohn triple system \(M=\text{MTS}(v,\mu)\) is called cyclically resolvable if the set \(\mathcal B\) of blocks admits a partition \({\mathcal R}=\{ {\mathcal R}_i \} \) such that each of the classes \({\mathcal R}_i\) partitions the point-set \(V\) and admits an automorphism of order \(v=|V|\) leaving \(\mathcal R\) invariant. For \(u=\prod_i p_i^{e_i}\) (each \(p_i\) prime with \(p_1=6k_i+1\)) a cyclically resolvable \(\text{MTS}(3u,\lambda)\) is constructed starting with a cyclically resolvable \((v,3,\lambda)\)-BIBD. Getting ``\(\mu\)-ply disjoint Mendelsohn difference families'' other interesting cyclically resolvable and cyclic almost resolvable MTSs are obtained.
