Weak slice conditions, product domains, and quasiconformal mappings (Q698304)

An inner uniform domain \(D\) in an Euclidean \(n\)-space satisfies a standard uniformity condition with respect to the inner Euclidean metric in \(D\), see [\textit{J. Väisälä}, Conf. Geom. Dyn. 2, 56-88 (1998; Zbl 0902.30017)]. Using the methods employed in the study of Hölder imbedding domains, see [\textit{V. Lappalainen}, Ann. Acad. Sci. Fenn., Ser. A I, Diss. 56, 1-52 (1985; Zbl 0584.30019)], the authors study bounded domains of the form \(U\times V\) and prove that such domains are quasiconformally equivalent to inner uniform domains iff they are inner uniform domains. The paper contains a list of open problems related to these questions.
