Periodic solutions to third-order functional-differential equations with variable coefficients (Q698372)

The authors derive sufficient criteria for the existence of positive periodic solutions to a third-order functional-differential equation with a discrete time delay. Some new results are obtained, which partly extend the results obtained by the authors and \textit{J. Yu} [On the existence of periodic solutions of third order functional-differential equations, Funkcial. Ekvacioj 48, 461-469 (2000)]. The approach involves the coincidence degree theory and its related continuation theorem as well as some a priori estimations.
