The mod 2 cohomology ring of the symmetric space \(E\)VI (Q698533)

First of all, the author remarks that the symmetric spaces \(E\)V, \(E\)VI, \(E\)VIII and \(E\)IX have 2-torsion, so that their cohomologies are quite complicated. The purpose of the author is then to determine the mod 2 cohomology ring of \(E\)VI. In fact, the additive structure of the integral cohomology can be completely determined by its mod 2 cohomology. This is due to the fact that \(E\)VI has only 2-torsion and the torsion elements of its integral cohomology are all of order 2.
