The authors recall some known notions and properties (see [\textit{J. Du} and \textit{H. Gu}, J. Algebra 404, 60--99 (2014; Zbl 1316.17010); \textit{H. El Turkey} and \textit{J. R. Kujawa}, Pac. J. Math. 262, No. 2, 285--316 (2013; Zbl 1281.20060); \textit{R. B. Zhang}, J. Math. Phys. 34, No. 3, 1236--1254 (1993; Zbl 0784.17029)]) such as: quantum enveloping algebra \(U(\mathcal{G}l_{1|1})\) of the Lie superalgebra \(\mathcal{G}l_{1|1}\), \(q\)-Schur superalgebra \(S(1|1, r)\) over \(Z\) and \(\mathbf{S}(1|1, r)\) over \(Q(v)\), \(Z\)-basis of homogeneous elements of \(S(1|1, r)\), the \(Q(v)\)-superalgebra epimorphism of \(U(\mathcal{G}l_{1|1})\) onto \(S(1|1, r)\) and the generators of the \(q\)-Schur algebra \(S(1|1, r)\) over \( Q(v)\). Then they give some multiplication formulas in the \(q\)-Schur algebra \(S(1|1, r)\) over \(Z\), a characterization of the central element in \(S(1|1, r)\) and a \(Q(v)\)-basis of the \(q\)-Schur superalgebra \(S(1|1, r)\). As conseqence, they find that the dimension of the center of \(S(1|1, r)\) is \(r\). Elsewhere, they introduce cocenter and symmetrizing trace of \(S(1|1, r)\), and prove on one hand that the dimension of the cocenter of \(\mathbf{S}(1|1, r)\) is \(r\), and on the other, that the cocenter of \(\text{Tr}(\mathbf{S}(1|1, r))\) and \(\text{sTr}(\mathbf{S}(1|1, r))\) of the \(q\)-Schur algebra concide. Next, they deduce a basis of the commutator subspace \([\mathbf{S}(1|1, r), \mathbf{S}(1|1, r)]\).
