Let \(G\) be a group. A subgroup \(H \leq G\) is said to be permutable if \(HK = KH\) for every subgroup \(K \le G\) and \(G\) is a \(PT\)-group if permutability is a transitive relation among subgroups. The authors recall that finite soluble \(PT\)-groups have been previously classified by \textit{F. Menegazzo} [Rend. Sem. Mat. Univ. Padova 40, 347--361 (1968; Zbl 0174.04902); ibid. 42, 389--399 (1969; Zbl 0275.20057)] and they extend the discussion to uncountable hyperabelian groups by analyzing their subgroup structure and quotient behaviour.\N\NThis paper investigates the structure of uncountable hyperabelian groups \(G\) of regular cardinality \(\kappa\) for which every proper subgroup of cardinality \(\kappa\) satisfies the called \(PT\)-property. The main result establishes that such a group \(G\) must itself be a soluble PT-group.\N\NThe proof combines structural results on minimal non-\(PT\) groups, properties of hyperabelian periodic and non-periodic groups and detailed cardinality arguments.
