      A \(\mathbb{Z}_3\)-graded quantum group, \(\widetilde{\mathrm{GL}}_q(1|1| 1)\), is constructed, together with a \(\mathbb{Z}_3\)-graded quantum space, \(\widetilde{\mathbb{C}}_q^{1|1| 1}\), along with its exterior algebra. Then two \(\mathbb{Z}_3\)-graded differential calculi are formulated which are covariant with respect to the \(\mathbb{Z}_3\)-graded Hopf algebra of functions on the \(\mathbb{Z}_3\)-graded quantum group \(\widetilde{\mathrm{GL}}_q(1|1| 1)\).\N\NLet us consider a \(\mathbb{Z}_3\)-graded free algebra with generators \(a, b, c, \gamma_1, \gamma_2, \gamma_3, \beta_1, \beta_2\) and \(\beta_3\), with the grading map \(p(a)=p(b)=p(c)=0, p\left(\beta_i\right)=1\) and \(p\left(\gamma_i\right)=2\) for every \(i=1,2,3\). The \(q\)-commutation relation is found and then \(\mathbb{Z}_3\)-graded algebra \(O\left(\tilde{M}_q(1|1| 1)\right)\) is given as the quotient space of the two-sided ideal generated by the relation. Consider the matrix of the form \N\[\NT=\left[\begin{array}{ccc} a & \gamma_1 & \beta_1 \\\N\beta_2 & b & \gamma_2 \\\N\gamma_3 & \beta_3 & c \end{array}\right]\N\]\NThen the relation is equivalent to that such that \(\hat{R} T_1 T_2=T_1 T_2 \hat{R}\) where \(T_1=T \otimes I_3\), \(T_2=I_3 \otimes T\), and \(\hat{R}\) is a certain \(9\times 9\) matrix given explicitly in the paper under review. We obtain a \(\mathbb{Z}_3\)-graded Hopf algebra \N\[\NO\left(\widetilde{G L}_q(1|1| 1)\right):=\frac{O\left(\tilde{M}_q(1|1| 1)\right)[t]}{\left\langle t \cdot D_q(T)-1\right\rangle}\N\]\Nwhere \(D_q(T)\) is a \(\mathbb{Z}_3\)-graded quantum determinant, and is the coordinate algebra of the \(\mathbb{Z}_3\)-graded quantum group \(\widetilde{\mathrm{GL}}_q(1|1|1)\).\N\N\(\widetilde{\mathbb{C}}^{1|1| 1}\) is a \(\mathbb{Z}_3\)-graded free algebra with the generator \(x, \theta, \varphi\). The \(\mathbb{Z}_3\)-graded quantum space \(\widetilde{\mathbb{C}}_q^{1|1| 1}\) is defined as the space with function algebra\N\[\NO\left(\widetilde{C}_q^{1|1| 1}\right)=\mathbb{C}\langle x, \theta, \varphi\rangle / I_q\N\]\Nwhere \(q^3=1\), and \(I_q\) is a two-sided ideal generated by the relations \(x \cdot \theta-\theta \cdot x\), \(x \cdot \varphi-q \varphi \cdot x\), \(\theta \cdot \varphi-q^2 \varphi \cdot \theta\). Two non-commutative differential calculi are constructed on the \(\mathbb{Z}_3\)-graded quantum algebra \(O\left(\widetilde{\mathbb{C}}_q^{1|1| 1}\right)\), covariant under the action of the \(\mathbb{Z}_3\)-graded Hopf algebra \(O\left(\widetilde{\mathrm{GL}}_q(1|1| 1)\right)\).
