In this paper, the authors study and discuss several properties of pure closed submodules, where many results are analogous to those concerning closed submodule and proved with similar standard techniques. Like the transitive property for the pure closed submodules, direct summands are pure closed submodule and direct sum of pure closed submodules. Besides that, they study pure closed submodules in multiplication modules and establish relationships of pure closed submodules with \(St\)-closed and \(W\)-closed submodules. Also, they prove for a finitely generated faithful and multiplication \(R\)-module \(M\), if \(K \subset_{pe} J\) then \(KM \subset_{pe} JM\) for all ideals \(K\) and \(J\) of \(R\). Finally, \(ACC\) on pure closed submodules is discussed and it is proved that for a finitely generated faithful and multiplication module \(M\) with \(K \subset_{pu} J\) then \(KM \subset_{pu} JM\) for all ideals \(K\) and \(J\) of \(R\), if \(M\) satisfies \(ACC\) on pure closed submodules then \(R\) satisfies \(ACC\) on pure closed ideals, and vice versa.
