The paper discusses free boundary problems for Lagrangian surfaces in \(\mathbb{C}^2\). Given a smooth domain \(\Omega\in \mathbb{C}^2\), the author demonstrates conditions for a weakly conformal Lagrangian immersion to be an \(\Omega\)-free boundary minimal immersion.\N\NThe paper consists of four sections. Section 2 provides basic knowledge which is required in subsequent discussions. The notion of being \(\Omega\)-free boundary Hamiltonian stationary is given in this section, and other topics related to the paper are summarized succinctly. Section 3 is the heart of the paper. The author provides a necessary and sufficient condition for a weakly conformal Lagrangian immersion to be an \(\Omega\)-free boundary Hamiltonian stationary surface with the localization property. As a result, the author shows the main theorem and its corollary. Section 4 is devoted to an examination of concrete examples. The author shows in the former part that Shoen-Wolfson cones are \(B_1(0)\)-free boundary Hamiltonian stationary Lagrangian surfaces, and observes in the latter part what shall happen if the assumption in the main theorem is removed.
