The author deals with strict efficiency in set optimization using the set approach. He introduce the phenomena of strict local efficient solution as \((\preceq_r,\phi)\) as a local minimizer together with illustrating examples. Scalar characterization and necessary and sufficient conditions for such solutions are received. They are expressed in a form of high-order directional derivative of set valued functions and their subdifferentials. Normal cones and coderivatives play an important role.
