Let \(G\) be a finite group. Let \(\mathrm{NL}(G)\) denote the set of non-linear irreducible characters of \(G\). For each non-linear irreducible character \(\chi\), the kernel \(\ker(\chi)\) is a normal subgroup of \(G\). The set \(\mathrm{Kern}(G)\) of these kernels reflects structural properties of \(G\), since every normal subgroup is the intersection of character kernels. This paper classifies all finite groups with exactly two such kernels (a group \(G\) with \(\mathrm{Kern}(G) = \{1\}\), i.e., such that all non-linear irreducible characters are faithful, is called a \(J_0\)-group).\N\NFor solvable groups, the authors identify six structural types, including specific \(p\)-groups, Frobenius quotients and direct products with \(J_0\)-groups. In the non-solvable case, they show that the quotient by the kernel of non-faithful characters is a \(J_0\)-group and derive precise constraints on the group structure.
