In this article, the author extends the semi-implicit spectral deferred correction (SDC) methods originally proposed by \textit{M. L. Minion} [Commun. Math. Sci. 1, No. 3, 471--500 (2003; Zbl 1088.65556)]. The SDC methods provides a systematic approach to constructing time integration schemes of arbitrarily high order for nonlinear evolution equations, including conservation laws. The key idea is to split the convection term into a possibly nonlinear explicit part and an implicitly treated diffusion-like part, inspired by the implicit formulation of the Lax-Wendroff methods. The author shows that the proposed methods are A- and L-stable, and also provides numerical evidence through the numerical experiments of 1D conservation problems.
