The authors present a unified geometric and homotopy-theoretic framework that recovers interacting eleven-dimensional supergravity in the pure-spinor Batalin-Vilkovisky (BV) formulation of \textit{M. Cederwall} [J. High Energy Phys. 2010, No. 1, Paper No. 117, 19 p. (2010; Zbl 1269.83064)] and simultaneously treats all topological twists of the theory. The central insight is the recasting of the relevant superspaces as analogues of ``Calabi-Yau twofolds'' in a derived sense.\N\NThe starting point is the notion of a weighted flag structure -- a filtration of the tangent bundle compatible with the Lie bracket -- which is abstracted to cover both almost complex geometry (via the shifted Hodge filtration) and superspace (via the maximally non-integrable odd distribution). From this data, the authors construct a generalized Dolbeault complex \(W^\bullet\) by transferring a \(D_\infty\)-structure to the \(E_1\) page of the associated spectral sequence. The degree-zero ``structure sheaf'' \(A^\bullet = \mathrm{Gr}_0(W^\bullet)\) plays the role of holomorphic functions. In the physical setting, \(A^\bullet\) is identified with the canonical pure-spinor superfield multiplet, aligning the construction with established supergravity literature.\N\NA derived-bracket \(BV_\infty\) mechanism produces an \(L_\infty\) interaction on \(A^\bullet\), yielding a ``homotopy Poisson-Chern-Simons theory''. This construction geometrizes the appearance of higher brackets and, for 11-dimensional supergravity, reproduces Cederwall's characteristic quartic interaction term. The authors introduce a defect two hypothesis on the nilpotence variety of the supertranslation algebra (satisfied by \(11\)-dimensional supergravity and its twists), which guarantees an isomorphism \(W^{-2,\bullet} \cong W^{0,\bullet}\). This pairing serves as the analogue of a Calabi-Yau twofold volume form, justifying the paper's title and controlling the interaction structure.\N\NThe framework is applied to verify \textit{K. Costello}'s conjecture [``M-theory in the Omega-background and 5-dimensional non-commutative gauge theory'', Preprint, \url{arXiv:1610.04144}] that the maximal twist of eleven-dimensional supergravity is equivalent to Poisson-Chern-Simons theory on \(\mathbb{R}^7 \times \mathbb{C}^2\). Furthermore, it provides a pure-spinor lift of the interactions for the minimally twisted theory, bridging the gap between target--space pure spinor formalism and the topological string perspective on twisted M-theory.
