      Let \((Z,0) \subset ({\mathbb C}^n,0)\) be a germ of hypersurface isolated singularity with \(n\geq 3\) and reduced equation \(f=0\). The paper describes the family of (analytic) \({\mathcal D}\)-modules generated by the powers of \(f^{-1}\) in terms of the pole order filtration on the cohomology of the meromorphic de Rham complex with poles on \(Z\). The following is a quotation of part of the excellent introduction to the paper (with the only addition of the Zbl references):\N\N``Our results include:\N\begin{itemize}\N\item A new approach to, and a new proof of, Vilonen's characterization of the intersection cohomology \({\mathcal D}\)-module [\textit{K. Vilonen}, Invent. Math. 81, 107--114 (1985; Zbl 0578.14018)], presented in Theorem 2.2.4 and Remark 2.2.7.\N\item A new computation of the length of the \({\mathcal D}\)-module of meromorphic functions (Theorem 2.2.4).\N\item An elementary description of the Hodge structure of the \({\mathcal D}\)-module of meromorphic functions (Theorem 2.2.4).\N\item A full solution to the question of the length of the \({\mathcal D}\)-module generated by \(1/f\) and of the corresponding Poisson cohomology (see [\textit{T. Bitoun} and \textit{T. Schedler}, Compos. Math. 154, No. 11, 2426--2440 (2018; Zbl 1439.14065); \textit{P. Etingof} and \textit{T. Schedler}, Geom. Funct. Anal. 24, No. 6, 1885--1912 (2014; Zbl 1320.14034)], in Corollary 3.0.4.\N\item Connections between top-forms decompositions with prescribed pole order and the \({\mathcal D}\)-modules generated by a power of \(1/ f\) via generalizations of Vilonen's theorem, described in Corollary 3.0.1.\N\item Demonstrating the importance of \({\mathcal D}\)-submodules generated by pieces of the Hodge or pole order filtrations, first considered in [\textit{M. Mustaţă} and \textit{S. Olano}, Int. Math. Res. Not. 2023, No. 21, 18254--18272 (2023; Zbl 1539.14067)], and studied in Corollary 2.2.6 and Theorem 2.2.8.\N\item Explaining the failure of the conjecture from [\textit{T. Bitoun} and \textit{T. Schedler}, Compos. Math. 154, No. 11, 2426--2440 (2018; Zbl 1439.14065)] (equivalent in terms of the Hamiltonian flow to [\textit{P. Etingof} and \textit{T. Schedler}, Geom. Funct. Anal. 24, No. 6, 1885--1912 (2014; Zbl 1320.14034), Conjecture 3.8], as first noted in [\textit{M. Mustaţă} and \textit{S. Olano}, Int. Math. Res. Not. 2023, No. 21, 18254--18272 (2023; Zbl 1539.14067)] (see also [\textit{M. Saito}, ``Length of $D_Xf^{-\alpha}$ in the isolated singularity case'', Preprint, \url{arXiv:2208.08977}]).''\N\end{itemize}
