A topological minimax theorem (Q700720)

This paper presents an improvement of earlier results on topological minimax theorems and, more precisely, of topological minimax theorems based on connectedness. The main theorem generalizes the related results of \textit{H. König} [Arch. Math. 59, No. 1, 55-64 (1992; Zbl 0784.49007)] and also the convexity-based minimax theorem of \textit{U. Passy} and \textit{E. Z. Prisman} [Math. Program., Ser. A 55, No. 1, 81-98 (1992; Zbl 0766.90062)]. In particular, it generalizes the classical Sion minimax theorem.
