      The paper under review is an extended version of author's Ph.D. Thesis, written under A. Moriwaki.\NLet $k$ be a field of characteristic $0$, $Y$ be a projective and normal $k$-variety of dimension $e > 0$, $Y^{(1)}$ be the set of points of codimension $1$ with points $\omega \in Y^{(1)}$ and $K$ be the function field $k(Y)$ of the variety $Y$.\NFor a projective $K$-variety $X$ of dimension $d > 0$ , there exists a $Y$-model $\mathcal X$ of $X$ if there exists a surjective and projective morphism $\pi: {\mathcal X} \to Y$ of $k$-varieties such that ${\mathcal X}_K = X$, where ${\mathcal X}_K$ is the generic fiber of ${\mathcal X}$.\NLet $X_{\omega}^{an}$ be the analytification of $X$ by \textit{V. G. Berkovich} [Spectral theory and analytic geometry over non-Archimedean fields. Providence, RI: American Mathematical Society (1990; Zbl 0715.14013)].\N\NThe main results of the paper under review are the relative arithmetic bigness inequality and the proof of the theorem on the equidistribution of subvarieties based on a partial case of this inequality. \N\NTheorem 6.3 (relative bigness inequality). Assume that $d > 0$. Let ${\mathcal E}, {\mathcal L}, {\mathcal M}$, be line bundles over ${\mathcal X}$.\NIf ${\mathcal L}$ and ${\mathcal M}$ are nef (numerically effective), then it holds that \N\[\N\deg_{\mathcal H}(\pi_*({\mathcal E}\otimes({\mathcal L}\otimes{\mathcal M}^{\vee})^{{\otimes}n})) \\ \ge \frac{c_1({\mathcal L})^{d+1}\cdot{\pi}^*({\mathcal H}) - (d+1)c_1({\mathcal L})^dc_1({\mathcal M})\cdot{\pi}^*({\mathcal H})}{(d+1)!} n^{d+1} + o(n^{d+1}).\N\]\NThe arithmetic bigness has been introduced in the works by \textit{A. Moriwaki} [Invent. Math. 140, No. 1, 101--142 (2000; Zbl 1007.11042)] and by \textit{X. Yuan} [Invent. Math. 173, No. 3, 603--649 (2008; Zbl 1146.14016)].\N\NThe author's next main result concerns the situation when the variety $Y$ is a projective regular curve over $k$.\NHe uses the concept of equidistribution of subvarieties over function fields proposed by \textit{X. W. C. Faber} [Acta Arith. 137, No. 4, 345--389 (2009; Zbl 1234.37058)].\N\NLet $L$ be a line bundle on $X$.\NA net of subvarieties of $X$ consists of an infinite directed set $I$ and a family $\{Z_{\iota}\}_{{\iota} \in I}$ of closed subvariety $Z_{\iota} \subset X$ (for each ${\iota} \in I$).\NA net $\{Z_{\iota}\}_{{\iota} \in I}$ is small if the heights $h_{{\overline L}}(Z_{\iota})$ converge to $0$.\NBy Yuan [loc. cit.] a sequence $\{x_m\}_{m \ge 1}$ of algebraic points is generic if no infinite subsequence of $\{x_m\}$ is contained in a proper closed subvariety of ${\mathbb P}^n$.\NBy the author of the paper under review a net $\{Z_{\iota}\}_{{\iota} \in I}$ is generic if for any proper closed subset $Z \subset X$, there exists an $\iota_0$ such that $Z_{\iota} \not\subset Z$ for any $\iota > \iota_0$.\NThe author defines the measure ${\hat c}_1({\overline L})^d_{\omega}$ by \textit{A. Chambert-Loir} [J. Reine Angew. Math. 595, 215--235 (2006; Zbl 1112.14022)] and normalizes it to the probability measure $\mu_{{\overline L}, {\omega}}$ on $X$ (to ${\mu}_{{\overline L},Z_{\iota},\omega}$ on $Z_{\iota}$).\N\NTheorem 7.2 (equidistribution of subvarieties).\NLet ${\overline L}$ be an adelic line bundle such that $L$ is ample and ${\hat c}_1({\overline L})^{d+1} = 0$.\N Moreover, there exists a sequence of triples $\{ (\pi_i: {\mathcal X}_i \to Y_i, {\mathcal L}_i, l_i)\}_{i \in {\mathbb N}_+}$ such that\N\N(a) Each $({\mathcal X}_i, {\mathcal L}_i)$ is a $Y$-model of $(X, L^{{\otimes}l_i})$, and ${\mathcal L}_i$ is nef.\N\N(b) Let ${\overline L_i := (L, \{|\cdot|_{{\mathcal L}_i,{\omega}}^{1/l_i}\})}$. Then $\lim_{n\to+{\infty}}d({\overline L}_i,{\overline L})=0$.\N\NLet $\{Z_{\iota}\}_{{\iota} \in I}$ be a generic net of subvarieties of $X$ such that $\lim_{{\iota} \in I} h_{\overline L}(Z_{\iota}) = 0$.\NThen $\{Z_{\iota}\}$ is equidistributed with respect to ${\overline L}$.\N\NIn terms of measures, the equidistribution of $\{Z_{\iota}\}$ means that $\int_{X_{\omega}^{an}} f \mu_{{\overline L},{\omega}} = \lim_{{\iota} \in I} \int_{X_{\omega}^{an}} f {\mu}_{{\overline L},Z_{\iota},\omega}$ for any continuous function $f: X_{\omega}^{an} \to {\mathbb R}$.\N\NPreviously, \textit{W. Gubler} [Manuscr. Math. 127, No. 4, 485--510 (2008; Zbl 1189.14030)] and Faber [loc. cit.] have developed another approaches to equidistribution over function fields.\NThe author uses various models, methods and techniques of algebraic and arithmetic geometry, including: adeles over function fields, (dynamical) height functions, Arakelov intersection theory, elements of Measure Theory. \NThere is a bibliography of 25 items.
