The authors study the two-dimensional nonautonomous Navier-Stokes equations on a bounded domain with time dependent coefficients appearing additively as a forcing term and multiplicatively in the advection term. First, they formulate the equations as a nonautonomous dynamical system consisting of a cocycle solution mapping on an appropriate space driven by an autonomous dynamical system which is the shift operator on the hull of the time dependent coefficients. Second, they obtain conditions of convergence of nonautonomous Navier-Stokes equations. Third, using the concept of pullback attractors, a criterion for the existence of almost periodic (quasi peridic, almost autromorphic, recurrent, pseudo recurrent) solutions of nonautonomous Navier-Stokes equations is given. Finally, the authors have derived a global averaging principle for the nonautonomous Navier-Stokes equations.
