In this paper, the authors investigate the relationship between multidimensional traveling front solutions and entire solutions of reaction-diffusion equation with a bistable nonlinear term. In 2019, \textit{H. Ninomiya} [Discrete Contin. Dyn. Syst. 39, No. 4, 2001--2019 (2019; Zbl 1411.35021)] has pointed out that \(n\)-dimensional traveling front solutions and \((n-1)\)-dimensional entire solutions are closely related. The authors of this paper give the definite relation between them.\N\NUnder the condition that the bistable reaction term is imbalanced, the authors prove that the limit of the \(n\)-dimensional multidimensional traveling front solutions, as the speeds go to infinity, generates an entire solution of the same reaction-diffusion equation in the \((n-1)\)-dimensional space. As applications of the result, they show that (i) the axisymmetric traveling fronts in \(\mathbb{R}^n\) converge to axisymmetric entire solutions in \(\mathbb{R}^{n-1}\); (ii) pyramidal traveling fronts in \(\mathbb{R}^n\) converge to polyhedral entire solutions in \(\mathbb{R}^{n-1}\), when the speeds go to infinity.\N\NSince in the both cases, balanced bistable reaction terms and imbalanced bistable reaction terms, traveling front solutions in the \(n\)-dimensional space generate entire solutions in the \((n-1)\)-dimensional space as the speeds go to infinity, the authors conjecture that traveling front solutions in the \(n\)-dimensional space generate entire solutions in the \((n-1)\)-dimensional space, as the speeds go to infinity, in various kinds of reaction-diffusion equations or systems.
