The paper is devoted to the investigation of the possible oscillating behaviour near the singularity for cosmological type solutions with \(n\) Einstein factor-spaces in the theory with scalar fields and multiple exponential potential. The billiard approach to a cosmological model with a scalar potential is applied. It is shown that for \(n>1\) the oscillating behaviour near the singularity is absent, i.e., solutions have an asymptotical Kasner-like behaviour. For \(n=1\) the examples of oscillating behaviour for scalar fields but not for a scale factor are presented. In the model with two scalar fields and three potential walls the necessary and sufficient conditions for triangle billiards to be of finite volume are found.
