Stochastic Loewner evolutions have been studied in several recent papers by Lawler, Schramm and Werner, both in a chordal and radial setting. The associated processes SLE\(_{\kappa}\) \((\kappa>0)\) are simple curves for \(\kappa\leq 4\), space-filling for \(\kappa \geq 8\) and satisfy the locality property for \(\kappa=6\). The paper under review tackles the case of multiply connected domains and introduces the radial Komatu-Loewner equation. When using a random slit, one may conclude that the Komatu-Loewner equation should be driven by a diffusion on the associated moduli space. As in the simply connected case, phase transition occurs at \(\kappa=4\) and \(\kappa=8\), and locality is satisfied for \(\kappa=6\).
